Teleport rules for alliance growth

BigBoB rule from KitKiller: where you park your city is not “comfort on the map”. It decides how many resource nodes spawn on our land, how fast we gather, and how fast the alliance treasury fills for tech and flags.

Why this matters

1. Resource nodes appear on empty map tiles. A city sitting on alliance land blocks that tile forever while you stay there.
2. Gathering on alliance territory gives +25% gather speed.
3. 1% of what you gather on our land goes to the alliance treasury → faster alliance tech and more flags.
4. More free tiles inside the purple border → more nodes → stronger gather + faster treasury.

1) Wrong — inside the territory

• City sits deep inside the purple alliance border.
• That footprint steals spawn space from farms, wood, stone, gold.
• Looks “safe in the blob”, but you hurt the whole alliance economy.
• Example of the idea: cities parked in the middle of our green (like deep inland spots on the screenshots).

Rule: do not live inside the territory unless leadership asks for a special case (war staging, hospital, etc.).

2) Correct — on the border (what 99% of alliances teach)

• City sits on the purple line (edge of alliance land).
• You still touch the territory for safety / buffs, but you minimally block internal spawn tiles.
• Classic good examples on our map: Miraa and Kai Ototsu — right on the border, not deep inside.

Rule: if you only learn one habit — park on the edge, not in the center.

3) Ideal — KitKiller teleport (outside, next to the border)

BigBoB goes one step further than the “border only” school:

1. Teleport next to alliance territory — outside the purple line.
2. Your city footprint occupies neutral / outside tiles, not our interior.
3. That leaves more free tiles inside our border for resource nodes to spawn.
4. You still sit close to the line — ready for gather on our land, help, and defense.

Rule: prefer ideal when you can: hug the border from the outside.

5) BigBoB checklist

1. Never park deep inside the purple border for daily life.
2. Good: on the border (Miraa / Ototsu style).
3. Best: just outside, glued to the line (KitKiller style).
4. Gather on our territory when you can — speed + treasury.
5. Unsure where to sit — ask R4 / KitKiller in chat before burning a teleport.

Pretty cities in the middle of the blob look cozy. Empty middle of the blob grows the alliance.
